Overview

What Information Do We Collect?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the transaction we collect information about you necessary to the transaction. We may also ask you to complete an optional survey.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address, and information from your computer that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Our store also uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits our site and what pages are being looked at. As a result, Google may disclose to us additional information about you.

We also use browser cookies to customize the user experience.Further, our site has constantly evolving social media components. These are wholly optional. This will result in information you elect to make public being shared with us and other users.

What Do We Do with Your Information?

Our web site depends on a variety of web services, many of which are out-sourced. We communicate identifying information to our payment processor, Shopify, who in turn communicates with various financial institutions.

We further communicate identifying information to our shipping partner, FedEx, who in turn often delegates delivery to the US Postal Service and other subcontractors. IP addresses and system information are maintained in server logs for referral to law enforcement and for other investigative purposes in the unlikely event of loss or fraud.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other interesting information. We may also invite you to participate in polls to better learn how to serve you best. Your consent serves as a waiver of any third-party benefit under the provisions of any of our subcontractors’ terms of service which would otherwise limit our ability to contact you. We may also use your information for planning or marketing purposes.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.

We do not claim our disclosure is complete or accurate as regards the activities of government intelligent agencies, nor can it be, since the terms under which such agencies act are classified.

Other than the above, we do not share data with others for any other reasons, including the sale of mailing lists.

Consent

How do you get my consent?

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary purpose, like marketing, we will tell you so and provide you with an opportunity to refuse use for that secondary purpose.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If you change your mind later, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you by contacting us at unsubscribe@anyilu.com.

Third-Party Services

Third parties provide many essential services as part of our provision of online shopping opportunities to you. We employ outside web design engineers, credit card processing, and shipping companies, to name a few. We supply only such information to each party as is reasonably necessary for their purposes in supporting our mission. We reasonably believe that their privacy policies are in keeping with our own, but do not indemnify their actions.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements, including those of Shopify, ShipStation, and FedEx.

Data Security

Data stores relied on by us are managed according to established industry best practices. Most notably, any credit or debit card data is encrypted (with AES-256 encryption) and transmitted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) as overseen by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Credit and debit card numbers are stored by our payment processor, not internally by ANYI LU. This data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction and a reasonable period of time thereafter to allow for processing any future refund. After that, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Other less sensitive information may be transmitted over unencrypted channels, such as ordinary email -- again in accord with industry best practices.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we may, but are not obligated to, notify you that it has been updated if we have your current email address.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that you may experience continuity of service.
